Daniel Johnston
I came across him a few weeks ago after looking up the song 'devil town' that bright eyes covered on 'noise floor'. Guess he has this big cult following, and there was a movie made about him in 2005 called The Devil and Daniel Johnston. Well i guess its a documentary, is that the same thing? Anyways, its about how he struggled with manic depression, and being hospitalized throughout his life, while trying to be the great musician he always believed he could. Ever since I watched the movie, and heard his music I can't get Daniel Johnston out of my head. I bought (one of?) his latest cd(s), 'welcome to my world', and I'm sure I'll buy more soon. I can't explain it, but after listening to him, everything else on my ipod just sounds like retarded garbage.

lipgloss and literature
Last weekend Allegra got me these insanely cute cupcake lip glosses.
My favorite is the strawberry one.
She also got me the book handmade nation. It's basically about super intense indie arts and crafts, and everything DIY.
